Missy Moreno is an actor, singer and comedian based out of her hometown and fave city of Pittsburgh. Missy is so grateful to have done wonderful shows with wonderful companies like Bricolage, City Theatre, Front Porch Theatricals, Pittsburgh Musical Theater, The REP,  Kinetic Theater Company, St. Vincent Summer Theater, Strand Theater and No Name Players. As an improv comedian, Missy has trained and worked at the legendary Second City in Chicago and The Annoyance Theater. In Chicago, she was part of the Jeff Award winning production of “The Original Grease (Jan, replacement) under the guidance of Jim Jacobs (creator of Grease) at the American Theater Company. Her current home for comedy is at the Arcade Comedy Theater where she is proud comedian, producer and fan, creating comedy since it’s opening in 2013. She has worked on LIVE READS with Chris Preksta, MISSY AND FRIENDS Cabaret, Frankly Scarlett, Dinner With the Nolens, Knights of the Arcade and produces a monthly show with her comedy partner Connor McCanlus of their musical comedy duo “babyGRAND”. babyGRAND, a best improv group winner for City Paper (along with all those other acts listed), bG has performed in Chicago’s Improv Comedy Festival, Philly DuoFest and opened for The Skivvie’s at the City Theatre. They also featured at the Chicago Music Improv Festival where Missy also shared a solo comedy act of “Lisa Mizzelli” at the Chris Farley Cabaret Theater at iO (dream come true since Chris is her inspiration). A graduate of Point Park’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, Missy has continued life in education as a Teaching Artist all over the city for people of all ages in the areas of Improvisation. She teaches at Mosser Casting, Pittsburgh CLO Academy and through the Propel School systems which has become a major heart passon for her. Missy also creates digital content and fun since her time as a Digital Video Producer for WTAE-TV Channel 4 and is commerically represented by Docherty Agency who helped her be part of the Superbowl this year in a UPMC spot!
