Tonya Lynn

Tonya Lynn is a Pittsburgh-based fight director/choreographer and teaching artist.  She has studied with the United Stuntmens’ Association and has remained active with the Society of American Fight Directors for over 15 years, serving on the staff of regional stage combat workshops in New York City, Philadelphia, Des Moines, IA, and the National Stage Combat Workshop.  Her fight choreography credits include the original production Sword Play at Colonial Williamsburg, VA, and over 100 productions at Pittsburgh area theaters and universities, including the Young Playwrights’ Festival at City Theatre, Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, Prime Stage Theater, Poor Yorick’s Players, The New Renaissance Theatre Company, The University of Pittsburgh, Robert Morris University, Seton Hill University, and Marietta College, among others.  Tonya is an adjunct faculty member in Theatre at the Community College of Allegheny County South Campus and a teaching artist at Westinghouse Arts Academy Charter School.
