Production Sponsorship Opportunities

The Public’s six-play mainstage series typically draws 70,000+ patrons to the O’Reilly Theater in Pittsburgh’s downtown cultural district for approximately 240 performances a year, making it one of Downtown Pittsburgh’s liveliest destinations.

For the safety of our audiences and artists, The Public is thrilled to announce an all-digital 2020-2021 season under the banner of, Classics N’at. This year, we invest deeply in the future of the Pittsburgh arts community by commissioning new works from six established and up-and-coming regional playwrights, building on the legacy of Pittsburgh’s playwriting titans. With ten original productions in the line-up, sponsorship opportunities are abundant.

Given that it will not be possible to safely gather at the Theater for the foreseeable future, the previously announced 2020-2021 “What the Heart Wants” season will move to the following year. The blockbuster line-up, currently scheduled to kick off in the fall of 2021, now includes: Murder on the Orient Express, She Loves Me, Two Trains Running, The Belle of Amherst, Yoga Play, and a special season opener Same Time Next Year!

Sponsorships for 2021-2022 mainstage productions begin at the $10,000 level for individual actors, designers, or production elements. Each level delivers a unique set of benefits tailored to fit your needs. In general, all sponsorships include prominent recognition in print materials and in the theater’s lobby, as well as complimentary tickets.
