Adult Education classes at Pittsburgh Public Theater range from acting to playwriting, Shakespeare to stage combat — subject to availability during our season. All classes are held in the O’Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater’s home in the heart of Downtown’s Cultural District. Adult Shakespearean Acting

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at Hamlet's famous, "To be, or not to be" or Phebe's, "I would not be thy executioner"? Now's your chance! This six-week adult acting class for beginners and advanced students will focus on Shakespearean text, iambic pentameter, and character analysis. Select a monologue and learn the intricacies of classical acting in a supportive, fun, and creative environment!
